MILLION DOLLAR BURSARY PROGRAM

 Today’s youth are tomorrow’s leaders. A solid education is invaluable – and it’s an investment we’re proud to make through our bursary programs.

Our Commitment

To help support our young members in furthering their education, we have introduced the Million Dollar Bursary program and will provide up to 1,000 post-secondary bursaries, each valued at $1,000, to students between the ages of 17-24 years old.

We have made a commitment to provide this bursary for 11 years (2014-2025), representing a total funding pledge of up to $11 million.

Other Bursary Programs

 

Lifelong Learner Bursaries

We also offer a number of Lifelong Learner bursaries to students at UBC Okanagan, Thompson Rivers University (TRU), and Okanagan College. These awards are intended to support mature students, with dependents, who have chosen to continue their education after taking at least a year off from school.

Visit the awards office at TRU, Okanagan College, or UBC Okanagan to apply for this and other awards that may be available.

Credit Union Foundation of BC

Bursaries based primarily on financial need are also available from the Credit Union Foundation of BC. Credit Union members receive preferred selection on bursaries offered through this organization.
