Our commitment to education

We're proud to provide up to 1,000 post-secondary bursaries, each valued
at $1,000, to students between the ages of 17-24 years old.

The Million Dollar Bursary has been supporting students for 11 years,
representing a total funding commitment of up to $11 million.

Be attending full-time studies in a trade, diploma, or degree program at a designated post-secondary institution in 2025 or 2026

Have tuition costs of $1,000 or more in a single semester

Lifelong Learner Bursaries

We also offer a number of Lifelong Learner bursaries to students at UBC Okanagan, Thompson Rivers University (TRU), and Okanagan College. These awards are intended to support mature students, with dependents, who have chosen to continue their education after taking at least a year off from school.

Visit the awards office at TRU, Okanagan College, or UBC Okanagan to apply for this and other awards that may be available.

Credit Union Foundation of BC

Bursaries based primarily on financial need are also available from the Credit Union Foundation of BC. Credit Union members receive preferred selection on bursaries offered through this organization.
